Our Story
Scouring the old interweb. Looking for a math t-shirt to
impress my students. The same format kept popping up over and over, jokes on shirts. Don´t get me wrong, I like a good math joke as much (or even more) as the next one, but that does not mean that I would ever wear them. Looking for math apparel with a little more class, more elegance, something stylish; funny math shirts didn’t have the panache I was looking for.
So, I decided to scratch my own itch. Went to the drawing board. Partnered up with my print-on-demand experts at Printful. Why have unnecessary stock when digital magic can make products on the go? That´s just uneconomical. Soon after, Mathmerch.xyz awakened.
Focusing on equations, we embroider (or print), math on merchandise. We strive for elegant and historically significant math combined with visual appeal. Euler's identity would be a prime example, which by many is believed to be called the world’s most beautiful equation. Our partners at Printful (who have delivered over 46.8million items since 2013) supply us with our blank canvases which we lay our designs on.
